Kids at
Grace Church
Here at Grace Church we are passionate about investing in the next generation: we want to raise up children and young people who love and serve Jesus and enjoy the abundant life he wants to give them!

Explorers
(0-4 years)
Our kids activities are back up and running!
We aim to provide activities for pre-school age children from around 11am at the majority of our morning services (except for occasional family services and during the summer holidays). Play, toys, games, craft, singing and stories all help our children ‘explore’ what Jesus has for them and their faith.

Adventure Kids
(School years R-6)
Our kids activities are back up and running!
We want our children to know that life is an adventure - lived at its best with Jesus. Through games, teaching, prayer, drama, crafts and loads of fun, we help children engage with the Bible, encounter God through prayer and build great friendships with each other.

Explorers Toddler Group
Coming soon: running every Wednesday morning (term-time), our Explorers toddler group is a lively and supportive group for babies, toddlers (pre-school children) and their parents to socialise, play, join in activities, sing together and share snacks.

Home For Good
Coming soon: we are passionate about adopting and fostering, and have a number of families in our church who are in the process of adopting and have experience fostering. We are in the process of exploring being a ‘Home For Good’ church which we hope will become a reality really soon, but for more information check out Home for Good below.

Safeguarding
We record basic details from parents and carers before we welcome children into our kids’ work to ensure we are caring for them to the very best of our ability. Please register your child for kids’ work at the start of the service so we can make sure they are really well looked after. You are also very welcome to accompany your child into the session if you would prefer.
All our staff and volunteers operate to strict guidelines, are DBS-checked and involved in regular training. For more information, please see our Safeguarding Policy below. We are always keen for new children to join or visit and our children’s work leaders are on hand before and after sessions to answer any questions, or to find out how we can care best for your child. Alternatively we are very relaxed about kids staying in the main meeting and don’t mind at all kids making noise and joining in however they want to!
